Need a copy of a Word 2013 document? Here’s the super-quick way to make a copy of a recently used document. Open Word and click the file tab. Then choose Open from the menu at the left. If it’s a recently opened document, click Recent Documents. Find that document, right click on it and select Open a Copy.
Your copy will open and you can get to work.

Hey Cynthia,
Although what you say is absolutely true, the fastest way for me is;
1) select the Windows ‘Start’ button
2) select ‘Documents’ in the popup
3) right click the document I wish to ‘copy’ assuming the original was saved as a ‘Document’
4) select ‘New’ Voila
my ‘Vista’ OS takes for ever to up load the whole program and selecting the individual document opens a lot faster.
I guess ‘Windows 10’ may work faster in this respect, or does it?
