I’ve found other similar complaints about that model of HP and some say they were helped by running the HP support assistant on their device.  It may already be on your PC or you can click here to download.

HP also suggests you might consider manually uninstalling and reinstalling your wireless adapters drives.

Type Device manager in your search box and click on the result.

Choose Network adapters.

Right-click on the wireless driver, and select “Uninstall.”

Restart the computer. This will force the driver to reinstall itself.
