I was digging through the lost and found at work the other night and ran across a very fancy calculator. After seeing it safely returned to its owner, I googled calculators for fun and discovered that there is a museum of HP Calculators!
I totally geeked out over the site, and thought I would share it with all of you!
When you arrive at the site, you’ll want to ignore the Enter button (unless you want to learn about Reverse Polish Notation (RPN) and why HP uses it) and scroll down the page to the main galleries.
The galleries are divided up by the year they were made. So you’ll find the before gallery, and then the calculator galleries start with 1968!
After you’re done checking out all the calculators, you may wan to check out the links under the History & Technology section of the peach side bar on the right side of the page. There you’ll find a timeline, learn more about calculator features, and even find a section on comparing technology.
