Get To Know Chrome Mobile Browser: View Multiple Tabs

Yesterday I introduced you to the Google Chrome mobile browser. Today we’re going to take a closer look at how to navigate tabs. When you open the Chrome browser on your phone or tablet, you’ll see the familiar address bar at the top of the page. To the right of the address bar you’ll see a number.

That number that tells you how many tabs you have open. A tab refers to a window in which you view an open website. In this app, it’s possible to several open at once.

If you have more than one tab open, you can tap that number to view your tabs.

You can either swipe right to close the tab or tap the X in the right corner.

To add more tabs, click the menu icon in the upper-right.

Then select New tab . If you want private browsing, select New incognito tab.

You can navigate between tabs  by tapping the number at the top.

Then just tap the tab you want to see full screen.

As you can see, it’s pretty easy to open and close websites and navigating between them is a breeze.

  1. Articles like this may seem rather simple or common knowledge to most, but for those of us that have only used our ‘stupid phone” as an emergency phone (usually to find out if we need bread or milk), a series of these helpful tips is/would be very helpful… Thanks Cynthia… Much appreciated!!
