Pokemon Go Doesn’t Help Nintendo’s Bottom Line
Initially, some investors thought the huge success of the Pokemon Go app would translate into big profits for Nintendo, the company that owns the rights to Pokemon. But Nintendo isn’t the developer of the game, they licensed the characters to Niantic and will get some licensing fees, but that hasn’t really boosted their bottom line.
The company lost almost $232 million so far this year and their quarterly sales fell by nearly $600 million. Poor sales of the Wii U and the 3DS game devices are hurting the company. Right now they are pinning their hopes on the upcoming Pokemon Go Plus device that alerts Pokemon Go players when there are Pokemon to catch.

If you use one of the following Nexus devices, the company will have security patches available for you this month to take care of some issues found with the Qualcomm components of the phones.

The updates will be pushed to your phone and you should be notified that updates are ready to install.
Microsoft Launches A Bug Hunt
Microsoft wants to track down any bugs in the new Edge browser and they’re offering a special $15,000 bounty for anyone who can track down vulnerabilities that hackers can use to remotely execute malicious code.
The Edge hunt lasts for the next 10 months and Microsoft will pay bounties between $500 and $15,000 depending on the severity of the bugs.
