Sony Introduces Two New Playstations

Sony has two new Playstations is hopes will find their way into stockings this Christmas. The first is the PS4, a slimmer console that sells for $300.


It will be followed up in early November by the PlayStation 4 Pro. The Pro will be a higher end model, retailing for $400.  It features 4K video thanks to an enhanced graphics chip and high-quality audio.

Feds Announce First Chief Information Security Officer

What does it take to get the government to take cybersecurity seriously? Maybe dozens of hacks exposing the personal information of millions? The Hillary Clinton email debacle? Who knows what finally did it, but the same government that still had the Navy running on Windows XP after security support has ended has decided to appoint a Chief Information Security Officer to take charge of cybersecurity policy, planning, and implementation across the entire Government.

Tasked with the job is retired Brigadier General Gregory J. Touhill. Good luck, General Touhill.

Recall Issued For Galaxy Note 7 Phones

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a formal recall for Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Phones.


This comes after a string of reports of exploding batteries in the new phones. The exploding batteries have been blamed for  around 40 fires so far . Samsung had been offering replacement phones, but many customers were still using their Note 7.  You can contact your wireless carrier, place of purchase or contact Samsung at 844-365-6197 or go to to arrange a refund or replacement.
