Today’s site, The Fight to Vote: A History of Voting Rights in America, is a really cool interactive timeline.
When you arrive at the site, as you scroll down you’ll find a great historical image of a Suffragists parade and some introductory text before you reach the interactive timeline.
Once you’ve reached the timeline, you’ll see information above the actual timeline for the date that is currently selected. You can click the arrow on the right side of the page to continue to the next point in time, or you can click on the items on the timeline to see what they are about.
Each item has an image and information for that point in the timeline.
I thought this site offered a really interesting way to quickly learn about the voting history in the United States.
Go check it out for yourself today!
