A reader is having an issue with the Chrome browser. “I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 4. I have been using Google Chrome for years, but now it crashes almost every time I try to connect to it. Is it not compatible with Windows 10 or what? Should I change to another browser?”
Chrome is compatible with Windows 10. Let’s try a few things. First, make sure you have the latest version of Chrome. Click the menu button on the upper-right and check the drop-down menu. If there’s an option to update Chrome, you’ll see it. If not, you’re up-to-date.
If updates don’t help, I’d suggest checking what types of extensions you have running in Chrome. One of them may be causing the problem. Or, you can try uninstalling and re-installing Google Chrome.
One of these options should take care of the problem.
