A reader has a question about updating Firefox. “I got a quick message in the lower left part of desktop informing me there was an update for Firefox. Before I could do anything, it was gone. How can I update it? I’ve tried everything could think of to find a link to do so. Thanks for your help.”
The good news is that Firefox probably updated automatically the next time you opened it. Here’s how to check to make sure you have the latest version. Open Firefox and click the menu button at the top right.

Then select Help, which is at the bottom of your menu.

Just click the question mark icon.

Then Click on About Firefox.

A window will open letting you know if you’re up to date. If you aren’t, you can click to install updates.
