I’ve had a few inquiries about how you use a USB flash drive with a MacBook Pro. If you have a PC or an older MacBook with a standard USB port, you can just plug it in and you’ve got an external drive ready to go. However, newer MacBook Pros use a USB C connection.
If you want to use a USB drive or device with a MacBook pro, you need to get an adapter and plug it into the USB C port on your MacBook.
