Welcome to The Antarctic Report! This online news source brings you information about Antarctica and the Southern Ocean. I discovered this site on National Penguin Day when they posted this infographic of the different types of penguins on their social media accounts and it got shared with me.
When you arrive at the site, you’ll find a navigation strip across the top of the page offering access to Science, Tourism, Reference, Operations, Events, About Us, and Newsletter. Beneath that, you’ll find the featured content of the main page like the list of Most Popular articles, and then featured articles from different sections that are clearly labeled.
If you click into one of the categories from the navigation strip, you’ll find them displayed in reverse chronology with the most recent articles at the top of the page for the category. All are clearly dated so you can see when they were published. Then all you have to do is click on them to read the full article.
This is a great way to learn about the Antarctic, the South Ocean, and all the animals living there. Go check it out for yourself today!
