Tech Term: Message Thread

I used the term “message thread” while helping someone troubleshoot a problem the other day and she was unfamiliar with the term.

A message thread is the back and forth exchange you might find in a messaging or text message thread between two people or a group.

It could also refer to an exchange on one topic in an email when both sides use the “reply” button to go back and forth. The term is also used for exchanges on a topic in a forum or a string of comments and replies on a post. Sometimes that might be called a comment thread.

  1. What does or is blue tooth. I thought it might be a mouth disease like blue tongue in deer. I bought a tablet computer from World Start and it says it connects via blue tooth, I’m 72 years old and have problems understanding some of these modern technological terms. I got the tablet up and running and it seems to work OK but my main desk top computer is running windows ten and I have the disk I got from World Start but still get confused and mess it up and have to fight with it for hours to get it running right again, I can see why some people don’t own computers as they are not any fun to work with anymore since the greedy ones at micro soft got rid of XP
