Automatically hide menu bar on Mac OS

Here’s a quick trick for those of you using a Mac. Normally, the menu bar is always visible at the top of the desktop.

If you’d like a cleaner look, you can change your settings so that the menu bar only appears when you over it with the mouse or trackpad. Here’s how:

Click the Apple icon on the upper left of the page and choose System Preferences.

Then select General.

Tick the box next to Automatically hide and show menu bar.

The menu bar won’t be visible now until you move your cursor to the top of the screen.
