If you’re concerned about privacy, you may want to take a moment and clear your Facebook search history. Here’s how to do it. Open Facebook. Click on your name at the top right.
This will take you to your Profile page. Click View Activity Log.
You’ll see a list of all your recent activity.
Use the search box at the top to filter posts. Here I’ve only searched for posts in which I tagged my friend Emma.
You edit previous posts or comments. I can change the audience for a particular post by clicking on the little icon that looks like people.
Click the icon that looks like a pencil and you can hide the activity from your timeline or delete it.
Using the panel on the left you can sort by posts, posts you’re tagged in, others’ posts to your timeline and more. To delete your entire history, click on More. Make sure it’s the first More and not the one under Apps.
Click on Search History.
Up at the top of the page, you’ll see the option to Clear Searches.
Click confirm to clear the history.
