Level Up Life is a neat way to track your daily achievements while providing motivation to get more done in your day. As you complete achievements you’ll XP (experience points) and level up and unlock increasingly difficult challenges!
I’m a big RPG (roleplaying game) fan, so the idea of using the platform to motivate myself to do stuff seems like a lot of fun.
When you arrive at the site, you’ll see a collection of just completed achievements, a set of achievement categories, and the registration form. The categories for achievements are: Arts & Creativity, Career & Finance, Fitness & Health, Food & Cooking, Fun, Household & DIY, Humanity, Mental, Outdoors, Reading, School & Learning, Social, and Travel.
You’ll need to register to give it a try, but the form is simple! Come up a with a username, provide your email address, and create a password, then you’re logged in. Once you’re logged in you can start adding achievements to work on. Once you’ve selected a few achievements, you can find them in the My Goals section (Goals at the top of the page too).
For example, I picked School & Learning, and the goal available was to watch a documentary. I’m in luck I just watched Paywall: the Business of Scholarship so I could check that one right off!
You can also use custom achievements. Click the category you want your custom goal to be cataloged under. I chose Career & Finance, then I defined a couple of work related goals to work on.
As you complete the goals you’ll earn XP and level up! You’ll also gain points in the stats at the top of the page.
This is such a fun way to motivate yourself to get stuff done! Go check it out today!
