A reader wanted to know if there’s a way to remove the task view in Windows 10. First, let’s take a look at how the feature works. You’ll find the icon for Task View to the right of the search box on the taskbar.
Click it and you’ll be able to get a look at all open tasks on your PC. To go back to your regular view, just click it again.
To bring up a task, just click on it.
While you can’t disable Task View, you can remove the icon from your taskbar to prevent you from accidentally clicking on it. Right click on the Task View icon. Untick the checkmark next to Show task view button.
The icon will disappear from the Taskbar.
