I had a question from a reader who was transitioning from the Thunderbird email client to Outlook about transferring their emails and contacts.

Since Thunderbird and Outlook use a different file format to store data, you’re going to need an app to handle the conversion.

There are paid utilities out there, but if you’re looking for a free program, consider Convert MBOX to PST. It’s free for home use, though there is a paid version with more advanced features for business.

After reading the information about the program and checking out the helpful video, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Download button on the left.

Your browser will ask for permission.

Open your Downloads folder and click to launch the installation.

Follow the directions of the set-up wizard.
