A friend of mine posted this link on Facebook, and I found it rather fascinating, so I thought I would share it with all of you.  Oxford Dictionaries answers the question of “what is the frequency of the letters of the alphabet in English?”

They take the information that Samuel Morse looked at in order to develop Morse Code and display it in a table while giving you some historical information about how it was gathered. 

Then they took a look at how words are listed in the Concise Oxford Dictionary, and came up with their own table which is displayed below their explanation of why they did so.  Then they determine the frequency of the letters based on that!
