These days, nearly every site you visit tries to get you to sign up for push notifications. It’s pretty easy to accidentally click yes. Then you find yourself bombarded by annoying pop-ups. Here’s how to stop it from happening in the Safari browser. Open Safari. Then click the Safari menu at the top left and choose Preferences from the drop-down menu.
When the Preferences window opens, choose Websites.
At the right, choose Notifications.
Untick the box next to Allow websites to ask for permission to send notifications.
I was told about an AP on W10 called SNIP. I opened it but that is as far as I got. Can you help me with how to use SNIP? Thank You for your column and such useful information.
