Mac Activity Monitor

Want to monitor system resources on your Mac? This can be useful if your Mac is running slow or acting strangely and also to help you stay on top of managing your system. Let’s check out how to use it.

Start by opening the finder, choosing Applications, and typing Activity Monitor in your search box. Then click on the results.

This window will open.

At the left, you’ll find a listing of your processes.

At the top, tabs for monitoring CPU activity, Memory, Energy used, Disk space, and Network resources consumed.

Just click on a process on the left to make it active. You’ll also find a graphic representation of the data at the bottom of Activity Monitor.

Each Activity Monitor tab will give you different information about the process.
