If your Mac is a little slow to start, it could be related to the programs that open when you start your Mac up. Fortunately, that’s easy to control
Start by clicking the Apple icon at the top left of your screen. Choose System Preferences from the drop-down menu.
When the System Preferences window opens, click on Users & Groups.
Choose the Login Items tab.
The items that open at startup will appear in a list.
To remove an item, select it and hit Delete.
