This week we’re taking a look at how to use bookmarks in the Firefox browser. Yesterday, we learned about your options for displaying bookmarks. (Click here to read that article.)
Today, let’s learn how to bookmark a favorite site. A bookmark creates a shortcut to a favorite webpage. Just click on the icon for the shortcut to be taken to the page.
Here’s how to add a bookmark. You can go to the page and click the star icon at the right of the address bar. You can also press Ctrl + D.
Or click the Library icon at the right.
Click on Bookmarks.
Choose Bookmark this page.
You’ll be able to change the name of the bookmark if you choose.
Click on Folder and choose another destination from the dropdown menu if you want to add to the bookmarks toolbar or menu. You can also select a folder.
You also have the option of adding tags to bookmarks to make them easy to find. When you’re satisfied, select Done.
Your bookmark will now appear in the location you selected.
