Two things I really enjoy are baking and miniatures, so you can bed I loved this site which features the work of pastry chef Matteo Stucchi.
What sets Stucchi’s creations apart is that he uses miniatures instead of elaborate piping and fondant to create amazing effects on his cakes and pastries.

He uses clever ideas like turning crushed nuts into gravel or fresh raspberries into a spooky sci-fi landscape to create though-provoking scenes on delicious-looking confections. It’s hard for me to pick a favorite, but his wedding cake is so brilliant, I wish I’d thought of it.

Some of these ideas are simple enough that I might consider trying them at home. Though, I doubt my cakes will look as good as the talented 26-year-old chef’s work. Click the link to see more of his brilliant work.
