Yesterday, I showed you how to protect an Excel document to prevent changes. (Click here to read that tip) But supposed you wanted to lock most of the document but still allow others to change some cells?
Let me show you how to do it. Start by opening the spreadsheet and highlighting the cell or cells you want to protect.

Then click on the Home tab.

Then, find the Alignment area of the ribbon and click the little arrow at the bottom right corner.

When the Format Cells menu opens, click the Protection tab.
