A reader needs some assistance updating a bookmark.
“I don’t know if this can be done or how to do it, but here goes. My bank changed hands recently and up until last month, I could go to my bookmark bar and locate the bank website and open the connection directly from the bookmark bar. However last month they closed that website and now I have to type in the bank’s name manually. Is there any way I can connect the new bank so I can just click it on to connect from the bookmark bar for fast access? I’m using Google Chrome.”
Sure! It’s a pretty easy process. First, let’s get rid of that bookmark that no longer works. Right-click on it in the Bookmarks Bar and choose Delete from the drop-down menu.
Next, go to the site you want to bookmark. Then click on the star icon at the right of your address bar.
Under Folder, select Bookmarks bar. Then choose Done.
