Set Safari Start Page

Mac’s default Safari browser has an updated look. So, now seems like a good time to look at how to select which webpage the browser opens to.

Start by clicking on the Safari icon to open the browser.

The browser will open.

At the top left, click on Safari and choose Preferences from the drop-down menu.

At the top, click on General.

From here you can choose which page Safari opens to. Choose between a new window, the standard Safari Start Page or put in the web address for any page you want. You can also set the Start page to your current page.

You’ll also find options to control how long items stay in history and to select where downloads go.
