A reader wants to delete Flash Player but can’t find it.
“Adobe Flash Player does not show up under Add or remove programs in Apps & features. It does appear as an icon in Control Panel>All Control Panel Items>Adjust your computer’s settings. There is no way to delete the program from the Control Panel. The program also does not show up when I try CCleaner. It evidently is hiding in my computer somewhere. Help!”
Are you sure it’s actually installed on your PC? Unless you’re getting a warning about it, it may not be there. If Adobe Flash is indeed still on your PC, it’s probably in the form of a browser plug-in.
If you’re using Chrome, click the three-dot menu icon, then choose More tools from the drop-down menu. Then pick Extensions. Look for Flash and delete it, if it’s still here. Though if you’ve updated to the recent version of Chrome Flash should be gone.

Though if you’ve updated to the recent version of Chrome Flash should be gone. In fact, updating to the most recent version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge should take out any Flash Plug-Ins.
However, if you run Edge in Internet Explorer mode, you could still have access to Flash Player.
