After three long years, Barnes and Noble finally has a new Nook model on the way. The company is partnering with Lenovo for a 10″ tablet available to customers in just a few days.
Remember, while you can’t read Nook books on a Kindle tablet, you can read Amazon Kindle books on a Nook tablet by downloading the Amazon app. (if you have an iPad or Android tablet or iPhone or Android phone, you can read both kinds of books by downloading the apps).

This new tablet features a full metal body, FM radio, dual cameras, and a special kids mode that allows you to carefully control what items children access.
The tablet weight less than 1 lb and has 32 GB of memory. You can expand the storage with a micro SD card.

“We are thrilled to partner with Lenovo for the new NOOK 10” HD Tablet,” said Susan McCulloch, Senior Director, Barnes & Noble Press and NOOK Operations. “This new NOOK is great for reading, playing games, or watching video. It will hit stores just in time for spring and it makes a wonderful gift for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or graduations.”
This new Nook starts at start at $129.99 and will be available at at www.barnesandnoble.com.
