Quick Screenshot Tip For Windows 10

Let’s look at how to use the PrtScn key to take a screenshot in Windows 10. It’s usually located to the top right of your keyboard. You’ll immediately grab a picture of what’s showing on your PC screen at the time.

That image is copied to your clipboard. Just open an image editing program like Paint, a document, or an email to past the image into. Press Ctrl+V to paste the image.

If you press the Windows key along with PrtScn, you’ll automatically save that screenshot into the Windows Screenshot folder.

You’ll find that folder in your Pictures Library.

The images are automatically saved as .png files.
