Noisli

I’ve been using Noisli while I work. I love that it offers different background noises to pair with its distraction-free text editor.

When you arrive at the site, you’ll be auto-loaded onto the noise generator portion of the site.  Either sign in with your Google account or create a free account with your email address. There are three play modes offered for the free version.: Random, Productivity, and Relax. You can also create your own sound mix by selecting the sounds you want to listen to. My favorite mix right now is the Rain, Thunder, and Coffee Cup.

You can turn the sound off with the Speaker button on the right side of the page.  Clicking the Line button next to the Speaker button whisks you over to the text editor. Hitting the Sound Wave button will take you back to the sound options.

The text editor is really easy to use. After reading the text,  you can select it (either with your mouse or with CTRL+A) and delete it (backspace or delete button) and you’ll have a fresh working environment. Your progress is auto-saved, but you may want to back it up from time to time just to be careful.

The buttons on the right side of the page allow you to save your work as a .txt file and download it.

This is a great way to get work done and be more productive. Go check it out today!
