IMDB TV Changes Name to FreeVee

turned on flat screen smart television ahead

I’ve told you about IMDB TV, the ad-supported free streaming service from Amazon. It offers thousands of movie and programming options including original programs like Judy Justice and Bosch: Legacy. Now the service is changing its name to FreeVee.

You can watch the service on your computer, phone, tablet, smart TV, or with most streaming devices.

As prices for streaming subscription services continue to rise, there’s been a lot of growth in people using ad-supported streaming services like Pluto TV and IMDB.

“The past two years, we have seen tremendous growth for our AVOD service and are committed to bringing our audiences premium, free-to-consumer content,” said Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon Studios, in the press release. “We’re looking forward to building on this momentum with an increasing slate of inventive and broadly appealing Originals, and are excited to establish Freevee as the premier AVOD service with content audiences crave.”

The name change is effective April 27.
