If you have a touchscreen device, Windows 11 offers a virtual on-screen touchpad that looks and works very much like a touchpad on a laptop keyboard. Here’s how to turn it on.
Start by right-clicking in a blank spot in your taskbar and then clicking or tapping on Taskbar settings.
When the Taskbar settings menu opens, scroll down to Virtual touchpad and move the slider to the On position.
The icon for Virtual touchpad will not be visible in your System Tray. Click or tap to open.
Here’s what it looks like onscreen. It works very much like a physical touchpad.
