A reader noticed a time difference in a post and was curious as to why.
“I noticed something when I posted a comment. The time! It said 3:45 am. but my real time was 9:45 pm. My timezone is CST. I didn’t see anything in the account profile that indicated a time zone setting. Sometimes that will be included for profile information. I was just curious.”
I use the WordPress platform to host this site and the time on their servers is set to GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). So, 9:45 pm your time is 3:45 am on the server time.
