Has my password been compromised?

Here’s a handy security feature of the chrome browser — you can easily check to see if your saved passwords are on the list of passwords that have been compromised. Here’s how to use it:

Click the three-dot Chrome menu tab at the top right and choose Settings from the drop-down menu.

Select Autofill

Then choose Password Manager. If any of your passwords are problematic, you’ll see an alert.

Click on Check Passwords to see the list.

This doesn’t mean that your account was necessarily breached, but it does mean that the password you use was found among those taken in a data breach. Changing the password is a good idea.
Click on the Change password button and you’ll be taken to the affected site to change your password.
