If you’re willing to put up with commercials, you could save a lot of money on your monthly Netflix subscription.
Currently, the basic tier of the ad-free streaming services costs $9.99 a month. Starting on November 3, an ad-supported version will be available for just $6.99 per month.
According to the streaming giant, “
basic with Ads will be available in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Spain, the UK, and the US.”
Netflix says some content available to folks on the more expensive tier isn’t available on the ad-supported tier due to licensing restrictions. Also, subscribers of the cheaper tier cannot download programs to watch offline.
The company says there will be an average of 4 to 5 minutes of ads per hour. Ads will be :15 to :30 in length and play before and after programming. So, technically, you won’t see any commercial interruptions.
Hi, Cyn, How do I submit a question to you?
I’ve been looking for a way to limit facebook notifications. I had them turned off completely (can’t find that now) however, I would like to shut of notifications on a per person basis. If that is possible, could you please post the steps? many thanks, Kathy
