Today, We’ll check out some great keyboard shortcuts you can utilize when creating Sticky Notes.
| Create a new sticky note from the notes list or from a single note. | Ctrl+N |
| Close the current sticky note. | Ctrl+W |
| Delete the current sticky note. | Ctrl+D |
| Move the focus to the list of all notes. | Ctrl+H |
| Cycle forward between all open notes and the list of all notes. | Ctrl+Tab |
| Cycle backwards between all open notes and the list of all notes. | Ctrl+Shift+Tab |
| Select all text on the sticky note. | Ctrl+A |
| Copy the selected text to the clipboard. | Ctrl+C |
| Cut the selected text to the clipboard. | Ctrl+X |
| Paste the text of the clipboard. | Ctrl+V |
| Undo the last action. | Ctrl+Z |
| Redo the last action. | Ctrl+Y |
| Move one word to the left. | Ctrl+Left arrow key |
| Move one word to the right. | Ctrl+Right arrow key |
| Move to the beginning of the line. | Home |
| Move to the end of the line. | End |
| Move to the beginning of the sticky note. | Ctrl+Home |
| Move to the end of the sticky note. | Ctrl+End |
| Delete the next word. | Ctrl+Delete |
| Delete the previous word. | Ctrl+Backspace |
| Search in any sticky note when in the notes list. | Ctrl+F |
| When in the search box, remove search term and return to notes list. | Esc |
| Close Sticky Notes. | Alt+F4 |
Thank you for this great tip. I have always used sticky notes from time to time. I get out of the habit and then go for awhile not using notes. I have WIN 11 now. and have clicked on the s note icon to open on the screen. One thing, after I create a note and then close my computer it doesn’t load on my screen as it always has. Is there a setting I’m missing??? Thanks.
