I’m a sucker for anything in miniature. I’ve always loved model railroads, dollhouses, terrariums, and anything that represents a scaled-down view of the world. But this site really blew my mind.
Canadian artist Talwst has taken old jewelry cases that originally contained rings, necklaces, and earrings and turned them into incredibly detailed miniature worlds.
Inside these seemingly ordinary cases, you’ll find everything from miniature forests to police shoot-outs on a busy street. In addition to the detailed color photos of these wonders, the artist explains how he got his start and where he gets his inspiration.
