Windows Notepad is a great little program that just got way better in Windows 11! Microsoft has added a feature users have wanted for years – tabs!
That means you can have multiple notes open in one window instead of starting a new instance of the program. You’ll be able to switch back and forth between notes with a simple click.
To start a new note, just click the + sign next to the tab at the top.
Or click on File and choose New tab from the drop-down menu. The keyboard commands Ctrl+N will also open a new tab.
