Windows 11 Focus Sessions

Want to get more work done? Try Windows 11 Focus Sessions. Let’s look at how to use it. Start by typing Focus settings Windows Search Box and click on the result.

Get started by telling the app how long you would like to work.

When you’re in a focus session:

  • A focus timer will appear on your screen
  • Do not disturb will turn on
  • Apps in the taskbar won’t flash to alert you
  • Badge notifications on apps in the taskbar will turn off

You can customize your Focus Sessions by opening them through the Window Clock App.

Select Focus Sessions.

Tell the app how long you want to work.

You can create a task list to work on during your session and also add music for working.

The app will keep track of your progress.

Give it a try and let me know what you think.

  1. No thanks. How about I just use my little battery-powered kitchen timer, like I always have? Old technology, but works like a charm! (I also own a pencil.)
