There are multiple ways to share a file using File Explorer on your Windows 11 PC.
One way is to select a file, then click the Share tab at the top of File Explorer.

You can choose to email files or folders. Files will be sent as links to download. You can also choose to send via a mobile app connected to your phone or through Microsoft Teams.

You can also share OneDrive files saved to your PC or in the cloud. Select the file or folder to share.

Click on the Share icon at the top of File Explorer.

Enter the email address of the person you wish to share with.

You can also decide if the recipient can edit the file and set a password by clicking in the Anyone with the link can edit icon.

You can make the file read-only, set an expiration date for the file, and even set a password required for reading. Click Apply when you’re finished.
