Windows 11 makes it pretty easy to share files with nearby devices. Both devices must be running Windows and have Bluetooth or WiFi enabled.
You’ll have to turn on nearby sharing for both computers. Type Nearby Share in your search box and click on the results.

Turn Nearby Share on for just your devices or for any nearby devices.

You can select where you’d like to save any files that are shared with you and also pick a name for your device.

To share a document or photo, open File Explorer, select a file, and then click the Share icon at the top.

Choose the device you want to share with.

The recipient will have a choice to Save & open, Save, or Decline the document. Saved items go to the Downloads folder by default. You’ll receive a notification that the document has been accepted.
