  1. Cynthia, you asked for comments re your new site – I kinda liked the way you did Tech Tips before. Smaller type is Ok, but smaller margins would be Ok too. The other format was good. ‘If it isn’t broke, why fix it!’ You’re doing a great job, keep up the good work, but try to add a rest period in there somewhere, Trish

    1. Trish: I had a lot of requests for larger type style from users who say they just can’t read it. I’ve even had request for something larger than the 18 pt. font I’m using here. I went with a one-column size for the newsletter.

      1. I, on the other hand, find the new font size and look of your website great and wish you much success for you new adventure in business! Thanks for all the great tips you have been sharing with us! Please continue!
        All the best!

      2. Cynthia, Those who want larger type set may need to adjust their own pc’s type set. I receive it just fine and had no problem with the old Tech Tips format. Thanks for asking our opinions, and all the info you provide us, Trish

      3. Cynthia, I certainly agree. As I age, my eyesight is deteriorating and I have issues with smaller type faces from time to time.

  2. I like the large print., But, I have an eye that closes when I have to read small print. Just got new glasses for the computer that helps. What I’m seeing now on this comment is OK

    1. I too have suffered from the micro print problem with many emails, but I learned to fwd, then select CTRL A which highlights all. Then I can select a larger or bolder font.

  3. I, too like what Peggy liked. Smaller would be OK too, as we can make our own screens larger. But some would be inconvenienced by smaller, or they don’t know how to make their screens larger. Trish

  4. Your new site looks very interesting. I like it. Takes getting use to after being with world start for so many years, but you don’t want to look like them. You want your own designs. I know I’ll get use to it, just new. Takes me awhile to get use to new things. Took me some time with world start too. I have alot of exploring to do on your site. Personally I like the larger print. Alot easier on the eyes. I wish you the best of luck with your site and great success.

    1. Thank you Deborah. It’s a work in progress. I was looking for something clean that would allow for large print and not too much clutter.

  6. Larger print is much easier on eyes that have issues in addition to poor vision. Please continue with larger print. Many thanks.

  7. I love the look of your new site. I find it much easier to read and I like the hints as to the tips will be about. Keep up the good work. Best wishes for your new venture!

  8. Greetings Cyn,
I just had to tell you how much I enjoy this site and your newsletters are fantastic. Your tech tips, have been very helpful. Im a retired submarine Chief Electronics Tech I have been working with computers for over 34 years. You are doing an excellent job teaching this old salty dog some new tricks and I look forward for each newsletter knowing I’ll get a fresh treat.

  9. Just my two cents on the type size. I like it a bit larger. These old eyes need some help, even with glasses. The larger seems to be clearer for me too. I really like what your doing with your new venture. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

  10. Always found your updates helpful, but its to expensive for me now. Thanks for all you do to help others.

  11. I’m trying to sign up for Bronze but the darn thing keeps taking me to CART instead of CHECKOUT???????? Plus I’m 80 years old and don’t have a clue what a URL is, can’t you make it a little easier to sign up for your letter?
