Robert from Rock Hill SC writes: I recently purchased a tablet with Win 8 operating system. This unit has one "micro USB" outlet. I am attempting to connect the tablet to my desktop via a USB connector. The desktop runs on Win 7 Home Edition. Neither unit will acknowledge the other unit. Can you tell me if the issue is because the Win 7 and Win 8 are not compatible. Or, is the problem maybe because of the micro USB? Thank you very much in advance.
