I always find collections fascinating. And I have to admit that I love sharing them with you. And in this site you will find vintage and modern matchbooks from Las Vegas in an ever growing collection.
You’ll find navigation on the side menu with the options of Home, A-L, M-Z, The Cabinet, Collecting, and the Lounge Spot.
A-L — This is alphabetical listing of matchbooks features a picture and a description of each. Some of my favorites from this section were: Barbary Coast 2, Caesar’s Palace, Dune’s 2, and the Freemont Hotel.
M-Z — The rest of the alphabet. Favorites from this section were: The Sands, Stardust 1, and the Tropicana 3.
Collecting — This section tells about why the author collects, and how it all got started for him. As well as some tips on collecting matchbooks.
The Lounge Spot — this takes you to a whole other site. It’s rather entertaining. Navigate with the round buttons under the “cocktails nightly” sign. When you rollover them the text on the sign will change to tell you what each section is about. From Jeff’s bio to a Project page, I don’t think you’ll be bored.
