Ask the Admin

Do you have a computer related question that’s been burning in your mind for quite some time now? If so, you’ve come to the right place! You can Ask the Admin to get an answer to your question or you can search through the articles already posted on the Web site to see if your answer is there.

This site is written in blog style, so on the left side, you’ll find all of the most recent articles. Then if you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, you can click on Older Posts to go back even further.

If you need any help, you can scroll down the page and on the right side, you’ll see “Get an Instant Answer if the Admin is Online.”

If the Admin is offline, you can always e-mail your question here.

If you see that the Admin is online, you can ask your question by typing it in the chat bubble. You can change the username as well by highlighting it and deleting the information so that you can type in your own username.

The Admin was online when I was researching this site and they answered my question rather quickly. I also want to let you know that this isn’t just help for those of you who use PCs. Yep, you can get Mac help here too!

Below that, if you scroll down just a tiny bit, you’ll find the search field, which allows you to search through the articles already posted for your answer. Just type in your problem or the topic of your problem and click on the bullet option for “Search www.asktheAdmin.com. Then click Search. The search results will be displayed in another window and they will be shown in Google style.

For example, if you have a registry related question, you could type in “Registry” and get five pages of articles devoted to the registry.

If you scroll down a little more, you’ll find the Categories section. You can browse by categories here as well, which is awesome. For example, if you have an Apple computer and you simply want to learn more about it, just click into that category!

Also, if you like this Web site and you would like to stay up to date on when new things are added, you can join their mailing list by typing in your e-mail address under “Stay Ahead of the Game with Daily Updates.” Then just click on the Subscribe button.

Don’t need any help? Then you can just tune in for the computer related funnies. I recommend watching “Office Wars.” It made me laugh out loud! I feel this site’s claim of “Free Tech Support with a Touch of Geeky Humor” is right on the money. Check it out today!
