I love this Web site’s title! The play on words is awesome. Fine Tuna equals fine tuning images! Fine Tuna is a site that allows you to add feedback notes or comments to an image or design. If you scroll down the page, you’ll see how it works in three easy steps.
You can get started by uploading an image off your computer or pasting in the link of an image from the Web. Once it’s uploaded, you’re taken to the page where all the fine tuning happens!
Here you will find a navigation strip along the top and an image below. Your options are:
Notes – By clicking on Notes, you’ve made it so that if you click on the image, you’ll add a note bubble to it. Write your note in the blank text box and click OK to add the note. Click Cancel to delete the note.
Insert – This will create an insert arrow that comes with a text box so that you can suggest text to be added to the image. It works just like the note bubbles.
Delete – This will give you the ability to make a red line through any text or images that need to be deleted from the image or design.
Highlight – This gives you the ability to highlight an area of the image or to highlight text.
Underline – This allows you to draw a green line underneath the text.
Move and Select – I saved this one for last, because you can’t use it until you’ve made a note or edited an image/design. It will allow you to pick up the whole image and move it on the canvas. Or, you can select the notes, insertions, etc. you’ve added to the image/design.
When you’re all done editing, you can send the image to the person doing the design work or to your friends and family for their feedback. Just type in the e-mail addresses of the recipients in the blank text box (separated by commas) and then click on the Send For button. A window will then pop up asking for your e-mail address so that you can receive replies.
After that, a green window will pop open to confirm who the image was sent to. It will also provide you with a link to the image they’re receiving in their e-mail.
It also gives you the option to continue editing or start a new project by uploading a new image.
If you’re on the receiving end of an image, you’ll get a link to the image. Click on the link, read the comments/additions/deletions the person added to it and then click on Add Comments in the top right hand corner. That will let you make your own notes, insertions, deletions, etc. When you’re done, click on the Send For button. It will ask you for an e-mail address to send replies to, just like it did for the sender.
Yep, it’s that easy to use! Plus, you can use it for all sorts of projects like Web design, icon design and even family photos. Give it a try today!
