Xbox One Release Date And Price Revealed

Microsoft has released some crucial details about its new Xbox One entertainment system, when you can buy it and how much it’s going to cost.

The system, which Microsoft is touting as the ultimate all-in-one entertainment system built for the 21st century living room, will arrive in November – just in time for the Christmas shopping season.

It won’t come cheap, The Xbox One launch bundle will be priced at $499 in the U.S. Each system will include an Xbox One console – which features a 500 GB hard drive, Blu-ray player and built-in WiFi – the new Kinect, an Xbox One wireless controller and a free 14-day-trial of Xbox Live Gold.

A limited-edition bundle will also be available to fans who reserve the system early. That guarantees fans can purchase the system on day one and includes “premium black packaging” and a limted-edition Xbox One Day One wireless controller and a unique Dy One Achievement.

Gamers who reserve day one launch game titles will receive exclusive content.  Titles announced so far include Ryse: Son of Rome, Forza Motorsport 5, Kinect Sports Rivals and Dead Rising 3.

  1. Hey Cynthia, when can I actually pre-order it? I’ve never had anything but the Nintendo Wii, so I’m thinking I might want to up-grade to one of these. Do you think I should reserve game titles also? I’ll bet you’re not into video games :-)… Did I mention that I appreciate all your hard work? Heck, I might even love you (secretly)…Kind regards, Milan

    1. Milan, it’s available for pre-order in the United States right now. Whether or not you want to reserve game titles depends on whether you’re one of those people that likes getting the first-day extras or if you’d rather wait to find out more about a game before paying for it.
