In your Tip newsletter, dated July 8th, you talked about the 2 versions of IE for Windows 8. I don’t have a touch screen, but I was wondering if I could still use Metro version?

Thanks!

Lowell, the Metro version of Internet Explorer is optimized for touch. The buttons are larger¬† making it easier to select the right area with your fingers and it’s arranged a little differently. But it will work with a mouse or touch pad. But some people have complained about the responsiveness with a mouse. The good thing about having two versions is, that if you don’t like the Metro version, you can always use the Desktop version.¬†
