In your Tip newsletter, dated July 8th, you talked about the 2 versions of IE for Windows 8. I don’t have a touch screen, but I was wondering if I could still use Metro version?
Thanks!
Lowell, the Metro version of Internet Explorer is optimized for touch. The buttons are larger making it easier to select the right area with your fingers and it’s arranged a little differently. But it will work with a mouse or touch pad. But some people have complained about the responsiveness with a mouse. The good thing about having two versions is, that if you don’t like the Metro version, you can always use the Desktop version.
