All of a sudden I keep getting this message when viewing on the web: “A script on this page is causing IE to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive”. How do I fix it?
A script error is displayed when there is a problem with the JavaScript or VBScript code on a website you are viewing. It can be caused by an error on the webpage or because some scripts take a long time to run and Internet Explorer wants to know whether or not you want to wait. Internet Explorer tracks the total number of executed script statements and then determines if it thinks it’s taking too long to run the script.
If this is happening on more than one or two sites, you can change the time-out value in Internet Explorer. (Versions 4.0 and up)
Microsoft does offer a “Fix it for me” option on their support site. You can click on the icon for Microsoft Fix it 50403.
You’ll get this window.
A step-by-step Wizard will walk you through the process. If you are not working on the computer with the issues, you can save the Fix it solution to a flash drive or CD and run it on the computer with the issue.

After I saved a couple copies and the address I ran the program and found that it does not work with my Win 8.1.
