Catherine, it’s super-simple. Just open Internet Explorer and select the little gear symbol in the upper right. Choose About Internet Explorer from the drop-down menu.
A window will pop up and show you which version you have.

Hi, I have a computer running win 7 and Now currently Ie 9.
I also use Windows live mail and gmail.
Just a few weeks ago, I did indeed download Ie10, what a disaster, from a perfectally functionally computer to one that wouldnt run many e-mail pictures and some short video’s.
I have removed Ie 10 and have gone back to Ie 9, now everything works perfectly again.
